Itineraries
Day 1
Transfer to Kibale National Park

The safari begins with an early morning departure from Kampala or Entebbe, heading west towards Kibale National Park. The journey takes you through lush countryside, tea plantations, and the picturesque town of Fort Portal. A stopover for lunch in Fort Portal offers an opportunity to enjoy the stunning scenery before proceeding to the lodge near Kibale. Upon arrival, check in and spend the evening at leisure, preparing for the chimpanzee trekking adventure the following day.

Day 2
Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Wetland Walk

An early breakfast is followed by a briefing at the park headquarters before embarking on the thrilling chimpanzee trekking experience. Guided by expert trackers, venture into the forest in search of habituated chimpanzee groups. Once found, spend an hour observing these fascinating primates as they interact, feed, and play. After lunch, an afternoon guided walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary offers an opportunity to spot other primates, birds, and unique plant species. The walk, led by community guides, provides insights into local conservation efforts.

Day 3
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Afternoon Boat Cruise

After breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, embark on a scenic boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you can observe large hippo pods, crocodiles, and a diverse array of birdlife. The cruise also offers a chance to see elephants and buffaloes drinking at the water’s edge. Return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation.

Day 4
Morning Game Drive and Transfer Back to Kampala

After the game drive, enjoy breakfast at the lodge before beginning the return journey to Kampala or Entebbe, with a stop for lunch along the way.
