Avents Tour Safaris Ltd organizes trips in Africa especially to Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Namibia. When booking a safari with Avents Tour Safaris Ltd, it’s essential to understand our terms and conditions. Please take a moment to read through this document carefully. By filling in the booking form or transferring money into our account you confirm that you agree with our Terms and Conditions.
- BOOKINGS
When booking a safari with Avents Tour Safaris Ltd, it’s essential to understand that all information provided is accurate to the best of Avents Tour Safaris’ knowledge and based on the latest information available. However, Avents Tour Safaris Ltd cannot be held liable for modified information from third parties or obvious typing errors.
To reserve flights and gorilla permits, Avents Tour Safaris Ltd requires your full name, nationality, and passport number. This information is necessary to ensure that all travel arrangements are made correctly.
Before confirming your safari, please inform Avents Tour Safaris Ltd of any preferences, special requests, or medical needs. This information will help Avents Tour Safaris Ltd tailor the safari to your requirements and ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable experience.
All packages are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until confirmed. Avents Tour Safaris Ltd recommends booking your safari well in advance to avoid disappointment.
If you need to make changes to your reservation, Avents Tour Safaris Ltd reserves the right to charge an amendment fee. This fee will be relative to the actual costs incurred in making the changes.
- PRICES AND INCLUSIONS
Avents Tour Safaris’ prices include accommodations, meals, sightseeing, park entrance fees, and English-speaking driver/guides. However, expenses not covered include international flights, visa fees, travel insurance, and personal expenses.
Please note that prices are subject to change without notice and are not guaranteed until confirmed in writing. Avents Tour Safaris Ltd will make every effort to minimize any price increases.
- EXECUTION OF THE TOUR
While on safari, please remember that Avents Tour Safaris Ltd cannot guarantee wildlife or game viewing. However, Avents Tour Safaris’ experienced guides will do their best to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable experience.
Accommodations are based on twin- or double-bedded rooms with private bathrooms where possible. However, Avents Tour Safaris Ltd. reserves the right to substitute equivalent or superior accommodations if necessary.
The mode of transport used will depend on the number of clients and the route taken. Avents Tour Safaris’ experienced driver/guides will ensure that you have a safe and comfortable journey.
- PAYMENT
To secure your booking, a 30% deposit is required. The balance is due 42 days prior to the safari. Bookings made within 8 weeks before arrival must be paid in full at the time of confirmation.
Payment can be made by VISA credit card, bank transfer, our online payment system (https://store.pesapal.com/aventstoursafaris) for international travelers to our accounts in Uganda or cash. Please note that payment by VISA credit card attracts a 5% service charge.
Please be reminded that we DO NOT accept payments by cheque.
- CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
If you need to cancel your safari, please note that cancellation charges apply. These charges are as follows:
‣ 60+ days prior to arrival: 10% charge
‣ 59-32 days prior to arrival: 25% charge
‣ 31-8 days prior to arrival: 50% charge
‣ 7-3 days prior to arrival: 75% charge
‣ 48 hours or less prior to arrival: 100% charge.
Air tickets are 100% non-refundable
Gorilla and Chimpanzee permits are 100% non-refundable. This is the policy of the respective wildlife authorities. Avents Tour Safaris Ltd will do everything possible to resell these permits in order to limit the damages for the traveler.
- COMPLAINTS
Avents Tour Safaris Ltd strives to exceed your expectations, but if you have any complaints, please report them immediately to Avents Tour Safaris’ representative and the supplier. Written complaints must be submitted within 30 days after completion of the tour.
- LIABILITY
Avents Tour Safaris Ltd will make every effort to ensure that all arrangements are carried out as specified. However, Avents Tour Safaris Ltd cannot be held liable for errors or omissions of suppliers.
Avents Tour Safaris Ltd is not liable for loss, damage, or injury to person or property. Avents Tour Safaris Ltd also cannot accept liability for unforeseen circumstances beyond Avents Tour Safaris’ control.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the necessary passports, visas, and documentation for travel. You are also responsible for taking medical and practical precautions regarding health and safety.
Avents Tour Safaris Ltd strongly recommends that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected medical or travel-related expenses.
