Itineraries
Day 1
Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Depart from Entebbe or Kampala in the morning and embark on a scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino trekking experience, offering a rare chance to observe Uganda’s only wild rhinos. After this thrilling experience, continue to Masindi for lunch before proceeding to Murchison Falls. Upon arrival, visit the top of the falls to witness the powerful Nile waters forcing their way through a narrow gorge, creating a breathtaking spectacle. Check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2
Game Drive and Boat Cruise on the Nile
Wake up early for a morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, where you have the chance to spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, buffaloes, and different antelope species. The open savannah, dotted with acacia trees, provides the perfect backdrop for incredible wildlife encounters. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. This scenic trip offers close-up views of hippos, crocodiles, and an array of bird species, including the rare shoebill stork. Return to the lodge for an evening at leisure.

Day 3
Chimpanzee Trekking in Budongo Forest
After breakfast, head to Budongo Forest for a thrilling chimpanzee trekking experience. Accompanied by experienced guides, walk through the dense rainforest in search of habituated chimpanzees. Once found, spend time observing their playful behaviour and social interactions. This trek also offers the chance to encounter other primates and a variety of bird species. After the experience, enjoy lunch before beginning the drive towards southwestern Uganda, passing through scenic landscapes and stopping for breaks along the way. Arrive at a lodge near Bwindi in the evening, check in, and unwind after the long journey.

Day 4
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 5
Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Cultural Experience
Begin the day with an early breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking guidelines. Join a guided trek into the thick rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. This adventure can take anywhere from two to six hours, depending on the gorillas’ location. Once found, spend an awe-inspiring hour observing them in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, visit the Batwa community for an immersive cultural experience. Learn about their traditional way of life, forest survival skills, and participate in cultural dances and storytelling. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6
Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for Relaxation
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before departing for Lake Bunyonyi, one of Uganda’s most beautiful and serene lakes. The drive takes you through scenic highlands with breathtaking views of terraced farmlands. Upon arrival, check in at the lodge and enjoy lunch with a view of the lake’s dotted islands. Spend the afternoon at leisure, with options for canoeing, swimming, bird watching, or simply relaxing by the lakeside. Enjoy a peaceful evening with dinner overlooking the calm waters.

Day 7
Transfer Back to Entebbe via the Equator
After breakfast, begin the journey back to Entebbe, passing through Kabale, Mbarara, and the Ankole cattle grazing lands. Enjoy lunch before continuing the drive to Entebbe, arriving in the evening for drop-off at the airport marking the end of the safari adventure.
