Itineraries
Day 1
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

The journey begins with an early morning departure from Kampala or Entebbe, heading towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. The scenic drive passes through rolling hills, small villages, and tea plantations, with a stopover in Fort Portal for lunch. On arrival at the park, check in at the lodge and relax, enjoying the breathtaking views of the savannah and surrounding landscapes.

Day 2
Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

An early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains offers a chance to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and a variety of antelope species. After lunch, an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel reveals an incredible array of wildlife, including large pods of hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species. Day 3
Chimpanzee Trekking in Kyambura Gorge

A morning adventure in Kyambura Gorge, also known as the "Valley of Apes," offers an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience. The lush forest within the gorge provides a dramatic contrast to the surrounding savannah, creating a unique habitat for primates. Guided by expert trackers, follow the chimpanzees through the forest as they swing through the trees and interact in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon at leisure, with optional nature walks or relaxation.

Day 4
Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and Afternoon Boat Cruise

Arriving in the afternoon, check in at the lodge and enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Mburo. The cruise provides an opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species, including the rare African finfoot. The peaceful lake offers a relaxing end to the day’s travel.

Day 5
Game Drive and Walking Safari

An early morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park presents sightings of zebras, giraffes, elands, impalas, and other wildlife unique to the park. Since there are no elephants in Lake Mburo, the park is ideal for thriving populations of grazers. After breakfast, a guided walking safari allows for an up-close experience with wildlife, providing a unique and intimate connection with nature as you walk alongside zebras and antelopes in the open savannah. The afternoon is free for optional activities such as horseback riding or birdwatching.

Day 6
Transfer Back to Entebbe via the Uganda Equator
