Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive through Uganda’s countryside with breathtaking landscapes and local villages. Upon arrival at your lodge, check in, relax, and enjoy dinner before an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Cultural Experience
After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on a thrilling gorilla trekking adventure. Accompanied by experienced guides, you will hike through the dense forest in search of a gorilla family. Once found, you will spend an hour observing and photographing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation. Later in the afternoon, experience the rich culture of the Batwa people, learning about their traditional way of life, music, and dance. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Kisoro Town
After breakfast, depart Bwindi and transfer to Kisoro town, a beautiful region surrounded by rolling hills and volcanic mountains. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy a leisurely lunch. The rest of the afternoon is at your disposal to relax or explore the town at your own pace. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Trekking and Lake Mutanda Boat Ride
After an early breakfast, head to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for a golden monkey trekking experience. These lively and playful primates are unique to the Virunga Mountains, and the trek offers a fascinating experience in the park’s bamboo forests. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat ride on Lake Mutanda, surrounded by stunning views of the Virunga Volcanoes. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Mount Muhabura Hike
After an early breakfast, embark on a guided hike to Mount Muhabura, one of the Virunga Volcanoes. Descend and return to the lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon of relaxation. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 6: Return to Entebbe
After breakfast, depart Kisoro for a return journey to Entebbe. Enjoy the scenic drive back, with opportunities to stop for photos and lunch along the way. Arrive in Entebbe in time for your onward flight, marking the end of an unforgettable adventure.
