Your journey begins with a scenic drive through Uganda’s countryside to the park, where breathtaking views and abundant wildlife await. Enjoy game drives across the vast savannah in search of elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, leopards, and numerous antelope species. Cruise along the Nile to the base of the falls and witness hippos, crocodiles, and a dazzling array of birdlife.
The highlight of the trip is the Nile fishing experience, where you will have the chance to catch the legendary Nile Perch, one of the world’s largest freshwater fish, alongside catfish and other species. Guided by experienced local fishing experts, you’ll explore the river’s most productive fishing spots surrounded by stunning scenery and abundant wildlife.
Complement your adventure with a guided nature walk through the park’s rich ecosystems from riverine forests to savannah plains where you will encounter smaller wildlife, learn about the park’s flora and fauna, and enjoy panoramic views of the Nile and its surroundings.

Day 1
Pick Up and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Visit Top of the Falls
Your exciting journey begins with an early morning pick-up from Kampala or Entebbe by our professional guide. After a short briefing, you will set off for Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area.
En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a memorable rhino tracking experience, the only place in Uganda where you can see rhinos in the wild. Continue to Masindi for lunch before proceeding into the park.
Upon arrival, you’ll visit the Top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile River forces its way through a narrow 7-meter gorge before plunging 45 meters below. The sight and sound of this natural wonder are breathtaking, the mist, roar, and rainbow over the gorge make it a photographer’s dream.
Later, cross to the northern bank of the park and check in at Hemingways Luxury Tented Camp for dinner and relaxation.

Day 2
Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
After an early breakfast, head out for a morning game drive through the park’s northern savannah plains. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Jackson’s hartebeest, oribi, and, if lucky, the elusive leopard.
In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile to the bottom of Murchison Falls. You’ll encounter hippos, Nile crocodiles, and an array of birdlife including the African fish eagle and kingfishers. The boat provides spectacular views of the thunderous waterfalls from below.

Day 3
Full Day Fishing Adventure on the Nile
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day sport fishing expedition on the Nile, one of Africa’s premier fishing destinations. You’ll fish for the giant Nile perch, catfish, and tiger fish, guided by experienced local anglers. Take a break to enjoy your packed lunch by the riverside while surrounded by the park’s wild beauty.
In the evening, return to the lodge to unwind, take a dip in the pool, or relax with a cold drink as you watch the sunset.

Day 4
Nature Walk and Relaxation
Start your day with a relaxed guided nature walk through the park’s diverse ecosystem. Your ranger guide will help you spot birds, monkeys, and other small animals while explaining the flora and fauna of the area.
After the walk, spend the rest of the day at leisure, enjoy the tranquility of the lodge, take photos, swim, or simply relax with a view of the majestic Nile.

Day 5
Departure
After breakfast, bid farewell to the wilderness and start your journey back to Entebbe. Enjoy a relaxed drive with scenic stopovers along the way for lunch. Arrive in the late afternoon, marking the end of your memorable 5 Days Murchison Falls Safari.
