Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival and Transfer to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Your journey begins with a warm welcome in Entebbe before setting off towards Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting rhino tracking experience. This is the only place in Uganda where you can see rhinos in the wild, making it a unique addition to your safari. After lunch, continue your journey towards Murchison Falls, arriving in the evening and view the top of the falls before checking in at your lodge for an evening of relaxation amidst nature.

Day 2
Game Drive and Boat Cruise at Murchison Falls
Wake up early for a sunrise game drive across the vast savannah, where you will have the chance to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and a variety of antelopes. After lunch, embark on an afternoon boat cruise along the Nile to the base of the spectacular Murchison Falls. Watch hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species while enjoying the breathtaking scenery. As the sun sets, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3
Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, depart from Murchison Falls and travel south towards Kibale National Park, a journey that takes you through scenic landscapes, traditional villages, and tea plantations. Arrive in Fort Portal in the afternoon and proceed to your lodge near Kibale Forest, where you can unwind and prepare for the next day’s chimpanzee trekking experience.

Day 4
Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Swamp Walk
Today is dedicated to exploring the rich biodiversity of Kibale National Park. Set out early for a guided chimpanzee trekking adventure, following expert trackers into the forest to observe these incredible primates in their natural habitat. After spending time with the chimps, return to the lodge for lunch before heading to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for an afternoon nature walk. The swamp is home to various bird species, monkeys, and unique flora, offering a perfect complement to your chimpanzee experience.

Day 5
Transfer Back to Entebbe
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before beginning your journey back to Entebbe. Stop along the way for scenic views and a lunch break, arriving in Entebbe in the afternoon. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for some souvenir shopping or a brief city tour before heading to the airport, marking the end of your 5-day adventure.
