3 Days Amboseli National Park Kenya
The Amboseli National Park is located at the foot of the highest single free standing mountain in the world Mount Kilimanjaro. It is on the border with Kenya’s neighboring country Tanzania. This makes Amboseli National Park arguably Kenya’s most famous park after Masai Mara National Reserve. It is about a 240km distance drive from Nairobi, driving through the Nairobi – Mombasa highway.
Day 1- Nairobi to Amboseli National Park.
You’ll be picked up from the airport in the morning and drive through the busy
Nairobi – Mombasa highway. You will be lucky to enjoy animals such as giraffes,
antelopes, zebras, impalas, and some other animals that graze alongside the
highway at Kapiti Plains. You’ll reach the hotel at lunchtime, have your lunch,
refresh, and relax while waiting for the sun to cool down. You’ll leave for the
afternoon game drive and watch the big herds of elephants crossing over the park
streets and heading back to their sleeping areas after spending the day at the
park swamps feeding.

Day 2- Explore Amboseli National Park.
You’ll have an early morning game drive before breakfast for the search of lions
and other cat families before it gets too hot. When the heat exceeds, some of
these animals get too hard to see. The sunrise is always beautiful and the
mountain at these hours sometimes it’s clear to see. You’ll go back for breakfast
and enjoy some of the hotel activities like swimming. You can also visit the Masai
people at their manyatta and learn more about their culture and how they can
survive with these wild animals very close to them. You’ll enjoy lunch. Later, you’ll
have an afternoon game drive, dinner, and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3- Amboseli to Nairobi.
You will have an early morning game drive for a chance to see animals you
haven’t seen the previous days. You’ll go back to the hotel for breakfast, check
out for the room, and head back to Nairobi. You’ll be dropped off at the airport in
time for your onward flight. End of tour.
