Itineraries
Day 1
Transfer to Akagera National Park and Evening Game Drive

Depart from Kigali in the morning for a scenic drive to Akagera National Park, Rwanda’s only savannah park, home to the Big Five and a variety of other wildlife. Arrive in time for lunch at a selected lodge before heading out for an evening game drive. As the sun sets, explore the park’s rolling hills and open plains in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. The evening is an ideal time to witness predators preparing for their nocturnal hunts. After the game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2
Transfer to Nyungwe National Park

Start the day with an early breakfast before embarking on a scenic drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of Rwanda’s countryside, tea plantations, and rolling hills. Arrive at Nyungwe in the afternoon and check in at a selected lodge. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing or taking an optional guided nature walk to explore the forest’s diverse flora and fauna. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3
Colobus Monkey Trekking and Transfer to Kigali

Begin the day with an early breakfast before setting out on a colobus monkey trekking experience in Nyungwe Forest. With expert guides, walk through the lush rainforest in search of large troops of black-and-white colobus monkeys, known for their striking coats and playful nature. The forest is also home to various bird species and other primates, adding to the experience. After the trek, return to the lodge for a quick refresh before starting the return journey to Kigali, arriving in the afternoon.
