Itineraries

Day 1

Transfer from Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park and Evening Game Drive

Start your journey with an early morning departure from Kampala, heading west towards Lake Mburo National Park. The drive takes approximately 4-5 hours, with a brief stop at the Equator for photos and an opportunity to learn about this unique landmark. Continue through the rolling countryside and traditional homesteads before arriving at the park in the afternoon. Check in at your lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch while taking in the serene surroundings. In the late afternoon, embark on an exciting game drive through the park, where you will have the chance to spot zebras, elands, buffaloes, impalas, giraffes, and hippos. The park’s picturesque acacia woodlands and open savannah provide stunning backdrops for wildlife photography. As the sun sets, return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 2

Morning Walking Safari and Return to Kampala

This intimate experience provides a deeper connection with nature, offering insights into animal behaviour and the park’s diverse ecosystem. After the walking safari, return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out. Begin the return journey to Kampala with a lunch stop along the way, arriving in the late afternoon marking the end of the safari.
