Day 1
Arrival in Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be met by our professional driver-guide who will give you a warm welcome and brief you about the safari ahead. You will then be transferred to your reserved hotel in Nairobi. Depending on your time of arrival, you may choose to relax at the hotel after your long flight or take a short optional city excursion to experience the vibrant life of Kenya’s capital. Later in the evening, settle in for dinner and overnight at your hotel, preparing for the adventure that begins the following day.

Day 2
Nairobi National Park Safari Experience

After an early breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up by your driver-guide and transferred to Nairobi National Park for a thrilling morning game drive. This park is unique as it is the only national park in the world located right next to a capital city, offering the rare chance to see wildlife against the backdrop of Nairobi’s skyline. As you explore the savannah, you may encounter rhinos, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and over 400 bird species. The game drive lasts several hours, giving you an authentic introduction to Kenya’s wildlife. Later, return to your hotel in Nairobi for lunch and leisure. In the evening, you may choose to relax at the lodge or enjoy optional activities such as a visit to the Giraffe Centre or Karen Blixen Museum before returning for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Transfer to Ol Pejeta Conservancy and Afternoon Game Drive

After breakfast, you will check out of your Nairobi hotel and begin your journey north towards Ol Pejeta Conservancy, located on the Laikipia Plateau with spectacular views of Mount Kenya along the way. The drive takes you through scenic landscapes of central Kenya, with stops for photography and refreshments. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and some relaxation.
In the afternoon, set out for a game drive within Ol Pejeta, a private conservancy famous for being home to the last two surviving northern white rhinos. The conservancy also hosts a large population of black rhinos, chimpanzees in a sanctuary, and a wide range of other wildlife including elephants, lions, cheetahs, and buffaloes. Your guide will take you through the plains and woodlands, sharing insights into the conservancy’s pioneering conservation efforts. After your safari, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4
Transfer to Amboseli National Park - Home of Giants

After an early breakfast, you will leave the Great Rift Valley and drive south toward Amboseli National Park, famously known as the “Land of Giants” due to its large herds of free-ranging elephants. The drive will take you through scenic landscapes and local villages, offering a glimpse into the culture and traditions of the Maasai people.
You will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge/camp, where you can relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is renowned for its breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa, which creates an iconic photographic setting for wildlife.
During the game drive, you’ll have the chance to spot elephants up close, along with lions, cheetahs, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of bird species. As the sun begins to set, casting golden hues over the plains and the snowcapped peak of Kilimanjaro, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5
Full-Day Exploration of Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast, you will set out for a morning game drive across the wide-open plains of Amboseli National Park. This is the best time to spot predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas before they retreat from the heat of the day. The early hours also give you the clearest views of Mount Kilimanjaro’s snowcapped peak, offering unforgettable photographic opportunities.
Later, you’ll return to the lodge for a hot lunch and some relaxation, enjoying the serene atmosphere of the park. In the afternoon, you will head out again for another game drive, this time focusing on the park’s large elephant herds and other wildlife like buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a diverse range of bird species.
Amboseli is particularly famous for its swamps, which attract elephants and hippos and provide a unique setting for observing wildlife interactions. As the sun sets, you’ll enjoy the magical African evening ambiance before heading back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6
Transfer to Lake Naivasha and Scenic Boat Ride

After breakfast at your lodge, you will depart from Amboseli National Park and begin your journey to Lake Naivasha, one of Kenya’s most picturesque freshwater lakes located in the Great Rift Valley. The drive takes you through scenic landscapes dotted with small towns, acacia trees, and the rolling hills of central Kenya, providing excellent opportunities for photography and short stops along the way.
Upon arrival at your lodge near the lake, you will enjoy lunch before heading out for an afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha. The calm waters of the lake are home to numerous hippos, Nile crocodiles, and waterbirds, including herons, pelicans, and fish eagles. You may also see giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife along the lake’s shores. The boat ride offers a relaxing way to experience Kenya’s unique aquatic ecosystem and capture stunning wildlife photographs.
Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Transfer to Masai Mara and Afternoon Game Drive

On arrival at your lodge or camp in Masai Mara, you will have time to settle in and enjoy lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Day 8
Full-Day Safari in Masai Mara

After an early breakfast, you will embark on a full-day game drive across the vast plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve. This day offers the best chance to spot the Big Five, lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino as well as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a rich variety of antelopes. Your experienced guide will take you through different habitats within the reserve, including open grasslands, riverine forests, and acacia-dotted plains, maximizing your wildlife viewing opportunities.
A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in a scenic spot within the park, allowing you to soak in the breathtaking landscape. In the afternoon, you will continue your game drive, possibly encountering hippos and crocodiles along the Mara River and observing the natural behaviors of predators and prey in their environment. As the sun sets over the Mara, painting the sky with brilliant shades of orange and red, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9
Second Day Safari in Masai Mara

After breakfast at your lodge, you will embark on another full-day game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve, exploring new areas of the park to increase your chances of spotting wildlife you may have missed the previous day. The Mara’s diverse habitats allow encounters with elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, and a variety of antelopes, zebras, and wildebeests. Your guide will also point out interesting bird species, reptiles, and smaller mammals that are often overlooked.
During the day, you may choose to visit a Maasai village, learning about the traditional lifestyle, customs, and crafts of the Maasai people. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the park, offering scenic views of the endless savannah and distant hills. In the late afternoon, you will return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 10
Return to Nairobi and Fly to Uganda

After breakfast at your lodge in the Masai Mara, you will check out and begin your drive back to Nairobi, enjoying the scenic landscapes of the Kenyan countryside along the way. Depending on your schedule, there may be opportunities for short photo stops or a quick visit to local markets.
Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be assisted with your domestic flight to Entebbe, Uganda. The flight provides aerial views of Uganda’s lush landscapes, rolling hills, and the Nile River as you approach the airport. On arrival in Entebbe, you will be met by your Ugandan guide and transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay, preparing for the next phase of your safari.

Day 11
Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park and Top of the Falls Visit

After breakfast at your Entebbe hotel, you will begin your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most diverse park, known for its dramatic landscapes and abundant wildlife. Along the way, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola for a guided rhino trekking experience, where you can see Uganda’s reintroduced white rhinos in their natural habitat.
Following the rhino encounter, continue the drive to Masindi for lunch before entering the park. In the afternoon, you will visit the top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile River forces its way through a narrow 7-meter gorge, creating a thunderous cascade. The vantage point offers stunning panoramic views and excellent photo opportunities. After this breathtaking experience, transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12
Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise at Murchison Falls

After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will embark on a morning game drive in the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park. This area is home to a rich variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, Uganda kobs, and leopards. Your experienced guide will help you spot animals, explain their behaviors, and provide insights into the park’s ecology and conservation efforts. The game drive offers excellent opportunities for wildlife photography and close-up encounters with Africa’s iconic species.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile River toward the base of Murchison Falls. Along the riverbanks, you may see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and a wide variety of waterbirds, including the African fish eagle, kingfishers, and storks. The cruise provides dramatic views of the falls from below and allows for spectacular photo opportunities of the roaring cascade and surrounding landscapes. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast at your lodge in Murchison Falls, you will begin the journey south toward Kibale Forest National Park, known as the “Primate Capital of the World” due to its high diversity of primate species. The drive takes you through scenic countryside, lush farmlands, and the picturesque rolling hills of western Uganda, with opportunities for short stops to stretch, take photos, and enjoy the local scenery.
Upon arrival at your lodge near Kibale, you will have time to check in, relax, and enjoy lunch. The remainder of the day is at leisure, allowing you to unwind and prepare for the next day’s primate adventure. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge.

Day 14
Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Swamp Walk

After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will transfer to Kibale Forest National Park headquarters for a briefing on the rules and safety guidelines of chimpanzee trekking. Accompanied by experienced park rangers, you will enter the dense tropical forest in search of habituated chimpanzee families, a thrilling experience that may take 2 to 5 hours depending on the movement of the primates. Along the trek, you may also encounter other primates such as red colobus monkeys, mangabeys, and various bird species.
Following the morning trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch and some rest. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a guided Bigodi Swamp Walk, where you can explore the wetland ecosystem, spot birds, tree-dwelling primates, and learn about the local flora and fauna. This walk provides insight into the region’s biodiversity and the importance of wetland conservation. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

The journey takes you through picturesque countryside, crater lakes, and the rolling hills of western Uganda, offering beautiful photographic opportunities along the way.
Upon arrival at your lodge near the park, you will check in and enjoy lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive in the park’s open savannah and woodland areas. During this drive, you may encounter elephants, lions, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, and a variety of antelope species. Your guide will share insights on the park’s ecosystems and wildlife behavior, enhancing your safari experience. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 16
Morning Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will embark on a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This area is renowned for its high concentration of lions, hyenas, elephants, buffaloes, and Uganda kobs. Your experienced guide will take you through open savannahs and woodland areas, pointing out wildlife and providing insights into animal behavior and park ecology.
Following the morning game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch and some rest before heading out for a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel in the afternoon. The channel connects Lake Edward and Lake George and is famous for its large populations of hippos, crocodiles, and waterbirds. During the cruise, you will also have a chance to spot elephants and buffalos coming to drink along the banks, providing excellent photo opportunities. After the cruise, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and Evening Game Drive

After breakfast at your lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will begin the drive to Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest but most scenic savannah park, known for its rolling hills, acacia woodlands, and diverse wildlife. The journey takes you through picturesque countryside, with opportunities for photography and brief stops along the way.
Upon arrival at your lodge near Lake Mburo, you will check in and have time to relax before heading out for an evening game drive. Lake Mburo is home to zebras, impalas, elands, buffaloes, warthogs, hippos, and a variety of bird species. The late afternoon light enhances wildlife viewing and photography, and you may also enjoy observing the park’s smaller nocturnal animals as they become more active. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 18
Walking Safari in Lake Mburo and Transfer to Entebbe

After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will embark on a guided walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park. Accompanied by an experienced ranger, you will explore the park on foot, observing wildlife up close, including zebras, impalas, elands, giraffes, and a variety of birds. Walking safaris allow you to experience the sights, sounds, and smells of the African bush, providing a more intimate and immersive encounter with nature.
After the walking safari, you will return to the lodge for a light lunch and check out. You will then begin the drive back to Entebbe, passing through scenic Ugandan countryside and towns along the way. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight, marking the conclusion of your unforgettable Kenya–Uganda Safari Experience.
