Day 1
Pick-up from Kigali and Transfer to Akagera National Park
Depart from Kigali early in the morning and embark on a scenic two-and-a-half-hour drive to Akagera National Park. The journey takes you through rolling hills and rural landscapes before arriving at the park entrance around 10:00 AM. Upon arrival, complete the park entry formalities and prepare for an exciting wildlife experience
Day 1
Game Drive in Akagera National Park
Begin the game drive through the park’s diverse ecosystems, including savannah, woodland, and wetlands. Explore the northern sector, known for its high concentration of wildlife, with chances to spot elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and predators such as lions and leopards. The game drive also offers stunning views of Lake Ihema and other scenic landscapes, providing excellent photographic opportunities. Bird enthusiasts can spot a variety of species, including the rare shoebill stork.
Lunch and Transfer Back to Kigali
