Avents Safaris Shines at the Magical Kenya Travel Expo 2025!
The recently concluded Magical Kenya Travel Expo (MKTE), held from 1st to 3rd October 2025 at Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi, brought together some of Africa’s finest tourism professionals and Avents Safaris was proud to be part of this prestigious event.
This year’s expo was a vibrant celebration of Africa’s tourism diversity, innovation, and resilience, bringing together hundreds of exhibitors, buyers, and travel enthusiasts from across the world. As one of the Ugandan tour operators in attendance, Avents Safaris joined forces with the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) to proudly showcase Uganda’s breathtaking beauty, wildlife, and cultural richness to the international travel market.

Our Experience at MKTE 2025
Participating in the Magical Kenya Travel Expo offered Avents Safaris an incredible platform to network, collaborate, and share the unique travel experiences we offer across Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Rwanda.
Throughout the three days, our team engaged in productive B2B meetings with international tour operators, travel agents, and media representatives, discussing potential partnerships and promoting Uganda’s top attractions from gorilla trekking in Bwindi, game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park, to cultural and adventure safaris across the region.
Our booth, located within the Uganda Tourism Board Pavilion, attracted great interest from visitors eager to explore Uganda “The Pearl of Africa.” Many were fascinated by our tailor-made itineraries that blend wildlife, culture, and adventure for both solo travelers and groups.

Strengthening Regional Collaboration
The event also provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen East African tourism ties. Working alongside the Uganda Tourism Board, Avents Safaris contributed to positioning Uganda as a must-visit destination within the regional tourism circuit.
We also engaged in discussions on sustainable travel, cross-border safaris, and regional marketing strategies aimed at boosting post-pandemic tourism recovery. These conversations underscored the importance of unity and collaboration within East Africa’s travel industry.

Why MKTE Matters
The Magical Kenya Travel Expo is one of Africa’s largest tourism trade fairs, organized by the Kenya Tourism Board (KTB). It serves as a dynamic platform for African tour operators, hoteliers, and destination managers to connect with global buyers.
This year’s theme focused on innovation, sustainability, and partnership in tourism, aligning perfectly with Avents Safaris’ mission to promote responsible and experience-driven travel across Africa.

A Successful Showcase for Uganda
Avents Safaris’ participation at MKTE 2025 was a resounding success, marked by meaningful connections, business opportunities, and a shared commitment to elevating Uganda’s visibility on the global travel map.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Uganda Tourism Board for their continuous support and coordination, as well as to all the travel professionals who took time to meet with us.

Looking Ahead
As we return from MKTE inspired and energized, Avents Safaris remains committed to delivering authentic, sustainable, and unforgettable safari experiences. We look forward to turning the partnerships and discussions from MKTE into long-lasting collaborations that benefit both our clients and the East African tourism community.
